Advent calendars are an awesome way to await Christmas! They have been huge in Europe for many years and we are finding more and more here in the US! Everyday, starting on December 1st every year, you open a box with the number for that day and find a little surprise until the 25th of December. I keep such fond memories of opening my advent calendars as a kid. They were usually chocolate advent calendars.
